Enchanted Mesa Show Chorus is proud to have the following quartets associated with our chorus. We endorse all of them as excellent singers and entertainers, suitable for any occasion...
Quarter of Four
Quarter of Four formed out of sheer necessity. As section leaders there became a need for a quartet to make learning tracks, to help with chorus auditions, sing for small events in lieu of the chorus, and to complete competition qualifications. We were singing so much together that in 2011 we decided to become a performing quartet. Even our song selections were for the benefit of the chorus with hopes to teach the Sweet Adeline Mass Sing songs. Since we still were identified as section leaders, we chose the name Quarter of Four, since each of us is a fourth of the whole four-part harmony we produce.
We love to share the joy of Barbershop at events in the local community.
Kathy Parnall (lead), Bev Berardinelli (baritone), Sharon Ormiston (bass), and Melanie Amend (tenor) want to thank the community for letting us sing at there events and parties!
Their name truly captures the essence of this quartet. Singing lead is Donna Berardinelli, who was initiated into barbershop harmony before she was born. She has her master’s degree at UNM and currently follows her passion to help students learn and succeed in her first grade classroom. Her mom, Bev Berardinelli, is our baritone and has always sung in choirs since high school. She likes to cook in a crockpot, go for walks, and play Uno with her family. Heather Hall, our bass, has been singing her whole life. When she isn’t singing, she’s an avid birder and loves spending time with her hubby, Ken, their two kitties and one doggy. Our tenor, Valerie Stefani, has been singing as long as she can remember. She gets excited about finding ways to engage with and extend young children’s curiosity and working on complex jigsaw puzzles with her love, Evan. Sweet Insanity is delighted to sing for you today!

Better Than Therapy
Better Than Therapy got its beginnings a year into COVID, with their first practices in singers’ masks. Laura Draelos and Anita LeCour, formerly in Sweet and recently retired, recruited Patty Brewer as tenor and Michelle Bunzel, who converted from bass to lead. Patty, tenor, sang for years with Sunny Disposition, has been actively involved with EMSC in many capacities, and enjoys playing tennis. Michelle currently sings in two choruses: EMSC and Rio A Cappella, works full-time and has also appeared in several theater productions in town. Anita , baritone, previously sang in Sunny Disposition, Winsome and Sweet, and plays piano for her church choir. Laura, bass, previously sang with Sweet, and is a champion racewalker. They share their love of barbershop singing and their desire to ‘spread the love’ as they share their music.
